Miliboo: Record Revenue, but the Founding CEO Departs
The designer furniture group posted a record revenue of 13.3 million euros in the third quarter, up by 19.9%, confirming a strong commercial momentum. However, this excellent performance is overshadowed by the announcement of the departure of Guillaume Lachenal, CEO and founder for over 20 years, scheduled for September 30, 2026.
Record Quarterly Performance
Miliboo achieved a revenue of 13.3 million euros during the third quarter of 2025-2026, marking a 19.9% increase compared to the same period last year. This record performance exceeds the revenue of the same quarter in 2023-2024 by nearly 2 million euros. The growth is driven by a volume increase of over 22%, reflecting the attractiveness of the product offerings. Optimal stock availability during key sales periods, particularly the November Black Friday and January sales, also played a decisive role. Price effects remain controlled, and the average basket size shows slight progress. Geographically, France generated 11.0 million euros, growing by 20.0%, particularly driven by the internet channel and marketplaces. International sales also accelerated with a 19.6% increase to 2.2 million euros, boosted by strong performances in Germany and Spain.
Cumulative Nine-Month Revenue Growth
The cumulative revenue for the first nine months amounts to 33.5 million euros, an increase of 11.5% compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year. This level is slightly higher by 0.7% compared to the reference revenue of the 2023-2024 fiscal year. Growth proves to be uniform between France, which generated 27.8 million euros (+11.5%), and international sales at 5.7 million euros (+11.6%). These nine-month figures illustrate a well-established longer-term dynamic, even though the growth rate remains below the spectacular performance of the last quarter. This acceleration between the two periods suggests a strengthening of demand towards the end of the calendar year, a traditionally strong period for indoor furniture.
Managerial Transition Raises Questions
The timing of this managerial transition raises questions. While Miliboo is recording its best quarterly results and showing double-digit growth over nine months, Guillaume Lachenal, founder and CEO, announced his departure for the end of September 2026. The Board of Directors also recorded the resignation of Véronique Laurent-Lasson from her role as a board member. The company clarifies that this evolution is in line with the appointment of a Deputy CEO in charge of operational management, and that a search process for a new CEO will be initiated. Miliboo approaches the last quarter of its fiscal year with ambitions, while remaining attentive to the economic context. The next annual results will be published on June 4, 2026, providing the market with complete visibility on the 2025-2026 fiscal year and the company's trajectory under new leadership.
