Nexans stock rebounds 2% but falls 11.5% over one month
The Courbevoie cable manufacturer is regaining ground during trading, in a Paris market oriented upwards. This rebound comes after several sessions of decline and ahead of the publication of its quarterly results.
A rebound that leaves the stock far from its moving averages
Quoted at €121.10, Nexans stock gains 2.11% compared to the previous day (€118.60), a level that coincides with its support threshold. The stock is among the best performing of the SBF 120 during the session, while the index rises 0.51%. This recovery remains modest in light of ground lost: the stock is still down 11.48% over one month.
The RSI at 28.86 reflects this bearish sequence, and the price remains well below its 20-day moving average (gap of 7.46%), without today's rebound changing this configuration. The stock, which fell through its support level of €122.10 at the beginning of the week, remains below this technical floor despite today's rebound.
Third quarter results expected on October 22
Nexans will publish its third quarter 2026 results on October 22. The group approaches this meeting after raising its outlook for 2026 when publishing H1 2026 results on July 29, 2026, with an EBITDA target of €805 million for the following fiscal year. During this publication, the group had also cited the normalization of PWR-Transmission, whose organic growth was -6.2% in the second quarter, among its points of attention.
It had meanwhile announced the acquisition of Republic Wire, which provides access to the American low-voltage market. In a Paris market grappling with tension on French debt, with an OAT-Bund spread of 1.51 points, the October 22 results are the next scheduled meeting for the stock.
