Nextensa: 196 Units of Bel Towers Reserved by Vicinity, Representing 44.6% of the Offering
Nextensa announced on Wednesday the reservation of 196 residential units in the Bel Towers project by the Vicinity Affordable Housing Fund. This transaction marks a significant milestone in the realization of the Brussels urban regeneration project.
A 439-Unit Housing Project in Brussels
Vicinity Affordable Housing Fund has reserved 196 units in Bel Towers, a mixed-use development project constructed by Nextensa on the former site of the Proximus towers in Brussels. Spanning a total area of 122,000 m², the project incorporates about 48,000 m² dedicated to residential space, along with offices, retail spaces, and community facilities. Bel Towers combines these uses within a sustainable environment that is open to the city, situated at the heart of the northern district of Brussels. The residential component totals 439 housing units. Hence, the announced reservation represents 44.6% of the total residential offering.
Strategically Located Near the North Station
Bel Towers enjoys a strategic location in close proximity to the North Station and the main transportation networks of the Belgian capital, positioning the project as a key player in the transformation of a major urban hub. Michel Van Geyte, CEO of Nextensa, emphasizes that this reservation 'confirms the interest in the project' and applauds the transformation of a landmark Brussels site into a mixed and sustainable neighborhood that strengthens the residential offerings of the capital.
