Enhanced ISR Capabilities with ANAFI UKR Micro-Drones
The Finnish defense forces have acquired Parrot ANAFI UKR micro-drones aimed at bolstering their ISR (intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance) capabilities. The Finnish defense forces' logistics command announced this acquisition. Orders began at the start of 2026. Boston Group, a longstanding partner of Parrot in the Nordic countries, supports this program. Finland has been operating Parrot micro-drones since the launch of the first generations dedicated to ISR, and from 2023 with significant volumes of ANAFI USA.
Financial Details of the Acquisition
The total value of the program amounts to nearly €15M (inclusive of VAT). Initially, Parrot systems contributed to training, field handling, and the development of ISR methods and procedures in Finland. With sustained use, they have been integrated into exercises and operational readiness activities, contributing to tactical situation awareness, including in challenging terrains and under difficult weather conditions.
