Quadient Secures Key Certification to Enter the US Government Market
Quadient announces that its S.M.A.R.T. postal service management software platform has received FedRAMP and GovRAMP authorization. This certification grants access to federal, state, and local government agencies in the United States.
Quadient has obtained FedRAMP (Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program) and GovRAMP authorization for its S.M.A.R.T. platform. This dual certification confirms the solution's compliance with the required U.S. federal government cloud security and compliance standards. GovRAMP, modeled after FedRAMP, sets similar security criteria for cloud service providers to state and local governments. According to Duncan Groom, Director of Solutions for Quadient's Mail Division, this authorization represents 'a decisive step in Quadient’s growth strategy' and positions the company 'as a trusted partner for federal, state, and local agencies modernizing their mail, shipping, and communication flows'.
