Renault: Group Registrations Decline by 5.27% in April in France

Renault Brand Resists, Stellantis Gains Monthly Advantage
With 33,283 registrations in April, the Renault brand fell by 4.65% over the month but maintained a market share of 19.68%. Over the first four months of the year, it has increased by 4.07% to 134,806 units, serving as the main support for the diamond-shaped logo group. Stellantis, the leading group in the French market, recorded 47,983 registrations in April (+0.90%) and captured 28.36% of the market, compared to 26.79% for the Renault Group, which has declined in monthly market share.
Dacia Drops by 14.60% in Cumulative, Alpine Plummets by 36.67%
Dacia registered 11,669 vehicles in April, down by 5.53%, for a market share of 6.90%. The decline is more pronounced cumulatively since January, at -14.60% with 41,826 units, a drop greater than that of the Renault brand and favorable to the group's product mix shift towards higher-value segments. Alpine, in its niche, saw its volumes fall by 36.67% to 373 registrations for the month.
