Renault stock breaks below its 25.43 € support and extends its decline
The diamond-branded automaker is losing ground in early afternoon, despite a CAC 40 that is slightly up. It ranks among the steepest declines on the Paris index, while several heavyweights in the automotive sector are showing a very different picture.
A support broken during the session and a stock below all its moving averages
The Renault stock is down 1.57% to 25.03 €, while the CAC 40 gains 0.49%. The stock broke through its support at 25.43 € during the session, the previous day's closing level, and is now trading below it. The decline is part of a longer downtrend: the price has fallen 13.72% over one month and 4.28% over the week.
It is 10.03% below its MA20 and 10.61% below its MA50, while the gap to the MA200 reaches 14.98%. The RSI at 34 remains close to the oversold zone, without reaching it. The September registrations in France nevertheless show a group growing 7.64%, to 48,070 vehicles, at the pace of a market up 7.8%.
