Renault stock leads CAC 40 and soars 7% following its Q3 sales
The diamond-branded automaker dominates the CAC 40 in mid-morning trading, in a well-oriented Paris market. This surge follows the release of its revenue figures, with annual objectives confirmed by the group.
A rebound that brings the stock back toward the 200-day moving average and its resistance at €28.95
Renault stock gains 7.02% to €28.20, leading the index while the CAC 40 advances by 1.07%. The stock rises above its 20-day moving average (+6.09%) and its 50-day moving average (+2.73%), but remains slightly below its 200-day moving average at €28.62. Resistance at €28.95 is less than 3% from the current price.
Over the week, the stock gains 4.72%, while it still loses 17.54% over one year. The RSI at 58 remains in neutral territory: today's move does not place the stock in overbought conditions. The stock trades at approximately 4.3 times expected earnings for the current fiscal year, according to the consensus of surveyed analysts.
