Rising Stone signs in Val-d'Isère and expands its portfolio beyond €1.1 billion
The alpine luxury real estate developer has signed a binding letter of intent for a prime central location asset in Val-d'Isère and increased its stake in a Méribel program close to completion.
These two transactions bring the projected business volume of its portfolio beyond €1.1 billion.
A binding agreement on a prime central location asset in Val-d'Isère
Rising Stone (Euronext Growth, code ALRIS) announced on September 7, 2026 the signing of a binding letter of intent concerning the acquisition of a real estate asset located in the prime central area of Val-d'Isère. This signing follows negotiations mentioned during the company's half-year activity update on July 31, 2026, when the group indicated it was conducting discussions on several major assets in the resort.
The future luxury real estate program would represent a projected business volume significantly exceeding €100 million. Once the acquisition is completed, it would bring the projected business volume of the group's portfolio beyond €1.1 billion, compared to €1,035 million as of June 30, 2026.
According to the statement, this project would rank among the most important ever undertaken by Rising Stone. The operation reinforces the position of Val-d'Isère, alongside Courchevel, in the group's development strategy for the most premium resorts in the Alpine arc.
At this stage, only a letter of intent has been signed. The signing of the final deed of sale is expected to take place in the coming months, according to the group.
Stake increased from 34% to 64% in the Lac Bleu program in Méribel
Rising Stone has also increased its stake from 34% to 64% in the project company that owns the Lac Bleu program in Méribel. In place of the former Le Lac Bleu hotel, located at 1,600 meters altitude at the foot of the Hulotte run, the group is constructing 28 apartments on a total area of 4,050 m².
This program represents a total business volume of €113 million. Its sales rate reaches 75%, interior works are nearing completion and delivery is scheduled for December 2026.
The group indicates that this increased stake enhances its share of results from a program whose commercial success is already established, with a positive effect expected as early as 2026. According to the company, this transaction demonstrates its priority of investing in its own programs when the risk-return ratio is most favorable.
Rising Stone a few months after its public listing
Jean-Thomas Olano, founder and chief executive officer of Rising Stone, links the two transactions to a single strategic direction: concentrating capital on projects deemed most value-creating. He emphasizes the strengthened position in a secured program in Méribel and the commitment to a project in the prime central location of Val-d'Isère.
Founded in 2016, Rising Stone designs and builds luxury chalets and apartments in alpine resorts (Méribel, Courchevel, Val-d'Isère, Megève) and premium vacation destinations. The group has 52 employees and maintains a portfolio of 15 real estate projects (335 chalets and apartments, over 46,000 m²) as well as 3 contracts for third parties, representing a total projected business volume of over €1 billion through 2030.
