Silk Way West Airlines has bolstered its position in the air cargo market by ordering two additional A350F cargo aircraft. This contract, which adds to an existing order, brings the total number of A350Fs ordered to four. This decision is part of the company's fleet modernization and expansion strategy.

According to Wolfgang Meier, President of Silk Way West Airlines, this order marks a significant milestone in the company's growth and demonstrates its confidence in the future of sustainable air freight. The A350F model, which offers enhanced performance and reduced carbon footprint, will enable the company to maintain its leadership position by modernizing its fleet.
Advanced Features of the A350F Model
The Airbus A350F model is distinguished by a large main cargo door and optimized capacity for standard industry pallets and containers. Comprising over 70% advanced materials, it weighs 46 tons less at takeoff compared to its competitors. The A350F is designed to meet new ICAO emission standards starting in 2027. Currently, assembly of the test aircraft is underway in Toulouse. The aircraft can carry up to 111 tons over a distance of 8,700 kilometers, reducing fuel consumption and carbon emissions by 40% compared to previous models.
