Sodexo Unveils Sustainable Roadmap Better Tomorrow 2028
Sodexo has announced the launch of Better Tomorrow 2028, a strategy aimed at enhancing its operational sustainability and positive impact.
Enhancing Positive Impact
According to Sodexo, the Better Tomorrow 2028 roadmap aims to amplify the positive impact of the group's activities by focusing on employees, clients, and the planet. The group plans to offer all of its 426,000 employees 15 hours of training per year by 2028, up from 11.8 hours in 2025. In terms of food offerings, the company aims for 70% of main dishes to have a low carbon footprint by 2030, according to the definition established in collaboration with WWF. Sodexo also intends to cut food waste in half by 2028 through its WasteWatch program.
Adaptable Country-Specific Strategies
According to the group, the Better Tomorrow 2028 strategy is designed to be adaptable to each country, taking into account cultural, regulatory, and economic specifics. Mouna Fassi Daoudi, Sodexo's sustainability development manager, emphasized that sustainability is a measurable operational lever at each site. Each country will deploy its own local roadmap to implement the principles of Better Tomorrow 2028, thus optimizing resources and positive impact.

Founded in 1966, Sodexo has positioned itself as a pioneer in sustainability by integrating social, societal, and environmental issues. The group, listed on indices such as the CAC Next 20 and the FTSE 4 Good, reported consolidated revenue of 24.1 billion euros for the fiscal year 2025 and serves 80 million consumers daily in 43 countries. Sodexo continues its commitment to achieving Net Zero Carbon by 2040, with initiatives like Stop Hunger to combat food insecurity.
