Soitec Extends Its Strategic Partnership in China with NSIG for Another 10 Years
Soitec and National Silicon Industry Group Co., Ltd. (NSIG) have agreed to a 10-year extension of their partnership through the extension of their commercial license. The agreement, announced on March 13, 2026, is still subject to final approval by NSIG shareholders by March 31, 2026.
Extension of Commercial Licensing Agreement
Soitec and NSIG are extending their commercial licensing agreement covering the subsidiaries Simgui and Simwings. This extension is part of the long-standing partnership between the two entities and addresses the growing demand in China for Soitec's SOI products and technologies. The agreement includes the strengthening of Soitec's intellectual property rights over SOI in China, without any transfer of technology.
