Stellantis and UQI Robotics join forces on autonomous delivery in Europe

A collaboration centered on last-mile logistics

On September 11, 2026, Stellantis Pro One and UQI Robotics announced their collaboration project on autonomous delivery solutions addressing the needs of logistics operators and professional customers. The initiative will initially focus on Europe, with opportunities in other international markets to be evaluated as the project progresses.

The partnership combines Stellantis Pro One's expertise in commercial mobility and knowledge of professional customers' operational needs with UQI Robotics' capabilities in autonomous logistics, artificial intelligence and robotics. The two companies intend to explore new approaches to last-mile logistics made possible by autonomous technologies.

Box-on-Wheels, a proof of concept presented in Hanover

As part of this collaboration, the partners plan to explore the development of Box-on-Wheels, an autonomous logistics vehicle. According to Stellantis, the initiative aims to evaluate how autonomous logistics, electrification, connectivity and services could be integrated into a solution for future logistics operations. Initial validation activities are expected in Europe.

UQI Robotics, a joint venture established by UBTECH and Miracle Automation in 2020, brings its capabilities in autonomous systems, software and perception technologies. The company reports having recorded over 260 million euros in cumulative contract value and deployed more than 7,000 robots across 66 cities and regions worldwide.

Stellantis presents this approach as a realization of its FaSTLAne 2030 strategy. The Box-on-Wheels proof of concept will make its public debut on September 14, 2026 at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hanover, Germany, with a demonstration planned at the Stellantis Pro One booth in Hall 13.
