Stellantis stock, CAC 40 laggard, falls 3% despite raised target by Oddo BHF
The multi-brand manufacturer closes the ranks of the Paris index, following a quarterly publication that had propelled it to the top of the rankings. The decline occurs in a rising market, at a time when a brokerage firm is revising its roadmap for the stock.
A lagging stock in a CAC 40 rising by approximately 1%
The Stellantis stock falls 3.1% to €4.15 in trading, while the CAC 40 gains 1.08% and Renault, another manufacturer on the index, rises 7%. The previous day, the stock had topped the index following third-quarter results marked by North America's return to profitability and Europe's shift into operating losses.
Over one week, the gain remains nearly 9%, while the stock has still lost over 18% in three months. This pullback occurs in a Paris market oriented upward, and it is this contrast that places Stellantis at the bottom of the index.
