Stellantis Shares Drop 1.5% Approaching Support at €5.78
The Italo-American manufacturer dips in late afternoon trading, marking one of the few CAC 40 stocks in the red, even as the Paris index sees significant gains. The stock is giving back some of the rebound it started the previous day and remains below all of its moving averages.
Stellantis Falls to €5.98, Among the Biggest Declines in the CAC 40
Stellantis stock falls 1.77% to €5.98 in late afternoon trading, while the CAC 40 is up 0.87% at 8,457 points. The stock is among the biggest losers of the index, following Renault (-3.58%) and STMicroelectronics (-2.32%). This movement erases part of the 5% rebound recorded on Monday, which had allowed the stock to move ahead of its French competitor in the CAC 40. Over a month, the stock has lost 7.64%, and the decline reaches 29.42% over a year. The drop in Brent crude (-3.48% in the session, at $84.29 a barrel, following the preliminary agreement between Washington and Tehran) reduces fuel costs but is not enough to support the Paris automotive sector, which is heavily represented in the day's biggest losses.
Stock Remains Below Its Three Moving Averages, Close to the €5.78 Support
The price is 6.52% below its MM20 (€6.40) and 9.21% below its MM50 (€6.59), while the gap to the MM200 (€7.77) reaches 23%. The RSI at 43 remains in the neutral zone and does not indicate either overselling or exhaustion of the movement. The stock is approaching the technical support at €5.78, a level that has not been tested since the decline in early June. According to the consensus of analysts surveyed, the stock is trading at about 7.2 times earnings for the current fiscal year and 3.9 times those of the following year. Further target revisions have occurred since adjustments by UBS and Jefferies at the end of May, including those from Morgan Stanley (06/04/2026), Kepler Cheuvreux (06/05/2026), and Citi (06/09/2026); the FaSTLAne 2030 plan had been unveiled on May 21 at Auburn Hills and commits €60 billion over five years. The €5.78 support remains the next technical level to watch.
