Stellantis Stock Leads CAC 40 and Rebounds Nearly 4%
The multi-brand automaker posts the best performance of the Paris index at close. This rebound occurs in a market trending upward, while the stock remains far from its levels a year ago and its quarterly results are approaching.
A Rebound That Remains Well Below Its Moving Averages
The Stellantis stock gains 3.91% and closes at €3.69, leading a CAC 40 that rises 0.83%. This recovery follows an unprecedented low in five years, reached on October 22 at €3.71, and the price remains slightly below this level. Despite this movement, the stock remains 5.32% below its 20-day moving average and 12.71% below its 50-day moving average, which indicates the magnitude of the distance to travel to regain its near-term reference points.
The RSI at 37 has rebounded without leaving the lower zone, and the stock has still lost 7.33% over the week, following a -26.28% decline over three months. The support level at €3.55 remains the closest level below the current price.
Third Quarter Results Expected on October 28
Stellantis will publish its third quarter 2026 results on October 28. The group indicated on October 13 1.3 million vehicles invoiced for the period, down 1%, an initial measure of activity ahead of full accounts. From a valuation perspective, according to the consensus of surveyed analysts, the stock is trading at approximately 6.9 times current fiscal year earnings and 3.5 times next fiscal year earnings.
On the sector side, Renault is up 1.08% this Monday but remains close to its level from a month ago (-0.38%). The analysts' opinions on the stock are worth following as Wednesday's publication approaches.
