Tonner Drones Highlights Its Stake in Elistair, Selected for a French Defense Project
Tonner Drones announced that Elistair, a company in which it holds approximately 10% of the capital, has successfully participated in field tests as part of the Pendragon project, led by the Ministerial Agency for Defense AI and the Command for Future Combat.
Successful Field Tests for Elistair
According to the press release, Elistair recently took part in a series of field tests for the Pendragon project, an initiative led by AMIAD and CCF. The trials focused on integrating Elistair's DroneBox Khronos with the UGV Hermione, an unmanned ground vehicle developed by H2X-Defense. The technical evaluation confirmed, according to the company, that the combined system provides ground mobility of the UGV coupled with the aerial surveillance capabilities of the tethered Khronos drone, which can fly continuously up to 60 meters high. This collaboration aligns with the French army's goal to design its first robotic unit incorporating artificial intelligence for tactical missions, the group indicates.
Strategic Communication and Growth Outlook
This announcement is part of the communication strategy initiated by Tonner Drones on December 8, 2025, when it released a statement about its participation in Diodon. The group indicates that 2026 positions itself as a year of growth and commits to providing its shareholders with regular updates on operational progress and the value of its various holdings, including Elistair, Diodon, and Donecle. Tonner Drones sits on the board of directors of Elistair, the statement specifies.
CEO's Perspective on Elistair's Success
According to Diede van den Ouden, CEO of Tonner Drones, Elistair's success in the Pendragon project underscores its position as a partner for innovation in French defense. The group develops technologies for the logistics sector and holds stakes in French drone manufacturers such as Elistair and Donecle. Its strategy involves increasing the value of its holdings through active asset management, the press release indicates. Shares of Tonner Drones are listed on Euronext Growth Paris.
