Trigano stock breaks through its 146.20 € support level and erases its rebound
The motorhome manufacturer finds itself among the most penalized securities in the broader index this Wednesday, in sharp contrast with the rebound it recorded on Monday. The stock even broke through a technical threshold during the session, in a context of rather well-oriented European markets, ahead of the publication of its annual revenue figure.
A support broken during the session and three moving averages above the price
Trigano declines 2.43% to 144.50 € during the session, thus erasing a large part of the 2.5% rebound recorded on Monday. The correction is all the more significant as the stock has broken through its 146.20 € support during the session and remains below this level, marking a notable downward break. The price is now below the MA20 (151.93 €, a gap of nearly 5%) and the MA50 (151.19 €, a gap of 4.4%), two moving averages that form nearby resistance. The MA200, at 157.14 €, or more than 8% above the current price, reflects the depth of the underlying unfavorable trend.
Over the week, the weekly decline reaches 5.18% and the fall over one month exceeds 9%. The RSI at 42, while not in oversold territory, confirms persistent selling momentum. The next significant resistance is at 158.80 €, far from the current price.
An annual meeting on September 23 in a tense macro context
The session takes place as the SBF 120 advances 0.45% and the CAC 40 rises 0.42%, which makes Trigano's decline particularly marked as it goes against the index. The stock is among the strongest decliners of the SBF 120, alongside other cyclical securities penalized during the session. On the macro front, the day is dominated by anticipation of the Federal Reserve's decision, widely expected to raise its benchmark rates by 25 basis points, which maintains pressure on global financing conditions and weighs on cyclical sectors exposed to household demand, including motorized leisure.
Furthermore, today's Chinese data shows household consumption remains sluggish, with retail sales up only 0.4% year-on-year in August. In this context, the stock's valuation (approximately 9.9 times the current fiscal year earnings, according to the consensus of surveyed analysts) remains modest, but attention is focused mainly on the 2026 annual revenue figure, expected on September 23.
