Unify Group (formerly Reworld) targets Sciences et Avenir and La Recherche to strengthen its science division
The media group listed on Euronext Growth Paris has obtained exclusivity to acquire two historic scientific publications, an operation that would complement its Science division already built around Science & Vie.
An acquisition project under exclusivity
UNIFY Group (formerly Reworld Media) announced on September 10, 2026 an acquisition project covering the media brands Sciences et Avenir and La Recherche, as well as their digital and non-media variants.
The group indicates it benefits from exclusivity in connection with this project. At this stage, the operation remains at the project stage and has not been finalized.
Founded in 1947, Sciences et Avenir is a monthly consumer magazine devoted to popularizing scientific news. La Recherche is a quarterly in-depth journal in the field of science, whose main contributors are researchers and academics.
According to the group, Sciences et Avenir reaches nearly 2 million print readers, with an audience of over 1.2 million unique monthly visitors and 2.4 million followers on social media. The title displays a paid circulation in France of 168,610 copies. La Recherche has more than 10,000 subscribers.
A strengthening of the Science division around Science & Vie
The operation, if carried through to completion, would consolidate UNIFY Group's media division position in the science sector, where the group already relies on Science & Vie.
The group emphasizes the complementarity of editorial positioning and audiences of the various brands as justification for the merger.
UNIFY Group specifies that the competent employee representative bodies will be informed and consulted in advance regarding the proposed operation.
Reworld Media, UNIFY Group's media activity, holds more than 80 media brands, including Doctissimo, Les Numériques, Marmiton, Marie France, auféminin, Grazia, Auto Plus, Science & Vie, Top Santé and Télé Star.
A diversified group with €529 million in revenue
UNIFY Group is an international diversified group organized around four activities: Reworld Media (media), Ed'Learn (training), Event Flow (events) and Nyorda Group (technology and digital marketing).
In 2025, the group achieved revenue of €529 million and operates in 11 countries, with international business representing 37% of revenue. It brings together 1,219 employees.
UNIFY Group is listed on Euronext Growth Paris under the code ALUNI.
