Unify Group stock soars 11% following takeover bid announcement at 71% premium
The media and training group is experiencing significant buying momentum following two announcements from its board of directors. The market is processing both a share buyback proposal and interim financial statements under new accounting standards.
A buyback offer at €2.70 substantially exceeding current market price
The UNIFY GROUP share gained 11.01% to €1.75 during the session, after closing the previous day at €1.58. The board of directors approved on October 14 the principle of a simplified public offer on its own shares, with a view to their cancellation. It covers 1.51% of capital at a price of €2.70, which would represent a 71.3% premium over the last closing price.
A €3 million buyback program was announced on the same day. The stock is now trading less than €0.01 away from its resistance level at €1.76. It is also trading above its 20-day moving average (7.61% difference), its 50-day and 200-day moving averages, which reverses the configuration of recent weeks: the stock has declined 8.17% over three months.
A half-year period showing growth driven by Bagneux, with an update on October 16
On the fundamentals side, recurring operating income increased 7.5% to €21.4 million in the first half of 2026, according to the accounts closed on October 14. Non-recurring operating income improved by €5.5 million to €0.9 million, in the context of the agreement reached on vacant Bagneux premises. These are the first accounts presented under IFRS standards, and the first half of 2025 has been restatified on the same basis.
During this publication, the company cited among its risks a less favorable advertising market, with investments concentrating on the World Cup in June. Growth drivers include acquisitions made in June, which represent more than 10% of pro forma additional revenue. The semi-annual financial report is expected on October 16.
