Vallourec Secures Major Contract with BP for an Offshore Project in Indonesia
Vallourec has won a contract with BP Berau Ltd. for the supply of premium pipes and VAM® connections for the Tangguh project, the first offshore Carbon Capture and Storage project located in West Papua, Indonesia.
Comprehensive Supply for the Tangguh Project
The contract involves the supply of premium pipes and VAM® connections made of corrosion-resistant alloys (CRA) for the Tangguh project, Indonesia's first offshore Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) project in West Papua. Vallourec will also provide its Tubular Management Services and the technical support of the VAM® Field Service teams to assist with various project stages, from the supply and installation of the pipes to the supervision of operations.
