VINCI Appoints Patrick Richard as Secretary General
VINCI announces changes to its governance starting March 1, 2026. Patrick Richard is appointed as the group's secretary general, while two new directors join the Executive Committee.
Effective March 1, 2026, Patrick Richard will take on the role of secretary general of VINCI. He will continue as a member of the Executive Committee and as secretary of the Board of Directors. Sophie Deis-Beauquesne is appointed as the legal director of VINCI and will join the Executive Committee. A Doctor of Law and attorney at the Paris and Hong Kong Bars, she joined VINCI in 2011 as the legal head of VINCI Energies International & Systems. In 2014, she became the director of legal, compliance, and insurance affairs at VINCI Energies, a position that included membership in the Executive Committee. Céline Acharian is appointed as the director of ethics and behavior at VINCI, also joining the Executive Committee. A former student of the École normale supérieure, she held various positions including head of economic and political relations at Inria, and director of communications from 2006 to 2017. In 2017, she became the director of information and digital practices at the Nuclear Safety Authority. Céline Acharian joined VINCI in September 2022 as the general manager of La Fabrique de la Cité and contributed to the influence of Leonard, the group's innovation and foresight platform.
