Schneider Electric stock sets historic record in session, heading towards 300 €
Schneider Electric is among the strongest gainers in the CAC 40 this Tuesday, in a nearly stable Paris index. The stock crossed its previous all-time intraday high today, driven by upward revisions of price targets published during the day by two major investment banks.
A new historic intraday record at 299.30 €, just two steps away from 300 €
The Schneider Electric stock is trading at 295.35 € in session, up 1.81% compared to the previous close at 290.10 €. During intraday trading, the stock touched 299.30 €, thus breaking its previous all-time record of 297.85 €. This absolute peak occurs in a market with little direction: the CAC 40 falls 0.07% in session, while the DAX rises 1.6%.
Over the past week, Schneider Electric is already posting a gain of 11.2%, capitalizing on the momentum created after the record results for the first half of 2026 published on July 30, which had propelled the stock up nearly 7% that day. The 300 € level, a psychological benchmark located less than 2% above the current price, is now the next benchmark to watch, especially as no previous technical resistance stands between the price and this level.
Goldman Sachs and Berenberg raise their price targets on the same day
Two major banks updated their views on Schneider Electric this Tuesday, August 4. Goldman Sachs raises its target from 321 € to 352 €, maintaining a buy rating, which represents an upside potential of approximately 19% compared to the current price. Berenberg for its part adjusts its target from 325 € to 340 €, also at buy, representing potential of approximately 15%.
The two revisions, published on the same day, follow in the wake of the semi-annual results which showed organic growth of 14% and an adjusted EBITA margin of 19.3%. The RSI at 63 signals strong bullish momentum, without entering overbought territory, while the price is more than 9% above the 20-day moving average at 269.73 € and more than 16% above the 200-day moving average at 254.59 €. The next tangible benchmark remains the 300 € level.
