1.38 € threshold abandoned: Eutelsat Communic. stock plunges into oversold territory
The satellite operator extends a slide that has lasted for months, in a Paris market barely oriented upwards. The stock finds itself at the bottom of the SBF 120 and has just broken a closely monitored technical level.
A support broken during the session, as the stock sinks below its three moving averages
The stock loses 2.83% to 1.37 € and broke through its 1.38 € support during the session without managing to reclaim it. The price is now 15.89% below its 20-day moving average and 40.39% below its 200-day moving average, illustrating the steepness of the decline. The RSI at 26 signals an oversold configuration, following a decline of 26.78% over one month and 41.83% over three months. On the SBF 120, the security ranks among the strongest declines of the session, while the index rises 0.14%.
A recent history of rebounds without follow-through, in a context of tight French debt
The stock had already attempted to recover several times since early October, among the best performances of the SBF 120 on October 12 as on October 5. These surges have not halted the deterioration, as losses reach 9.83% over the week and 53.26% over a year. On the market side, the 10-year OAT rate stands at 4.86% according to the latest Bank of France reading from October 12, with a 1.40 percentage point spread with the Bund, while the examination of the 2027 budget resumes in the National Assembly.
On October 2, the company announced the completion of the first 32 OneWeb satellites from a 669-unit program designed to renew its constellation, built by Airbus Defence and Space. The level of 1.38 €, now abandoned, is the technical reference point to watch in the coming sessions.
