20% decline in one month, RSI at 17: Emeis stock rebounds 2%
Emeis recovers at the start of trading, after several weeks of decline that have pushed the stock well below its moving averages. The rebound occurs in a Paris market oriented upward, while French rates remain under pressure.
A rebound that leaves the stock far from its moving averages
The stock gains 2.1% to €10.23, compared to €10.02 at the previous close. This level coincides with its support level at €10.02, which the price has just tested. The movement remains modest compared to the accumulated decline: -20.2% over one month and -30.9% over three months. The price remains 12.7% below the 20-day moving average and 26.3% below the 200-day moving average, and the RSI at 17 reflects marked selling exhaustion, which places today's rebound in a phase of significant oversold conditions.
Over the week, the decline reaches 7.2%. In the SBF 120, which advances 0.7% at midday, Emeis ranks in the upper half of the index without standing out from the pack. The CAC 40 gains 0.65% in a context where the 10-year OAT, at 4.90% according to the latest Bank of France reading of October 2, is at its highest level since 2008 or nearly so.

On the fundamentals side, the group announced on October 5 that it had completed its withdrawal from Latin America, following the sale of its Brazilian operations. All divestments represent approximately €111 million, excluding residual land, for this operator of nursing homes and clinics. During the publication of H1 2026 results on July 29, the company indicated that the semester's performance allowed it to raise its objectives for the year. As a reminder, Emeis stock is trading at €10.23, or 2% above its support level of €10.02, whose holding remains the level to watch in the coming sessions.
