+47.5% in three months: Alten share gains over 3% during trading session
The engineering consulting specialist is recovering sharply in mid-morning, in a Paris market trending upward. This rebound occurs as the share remains well above all its moving averages, following a quarter of very strong growth.
A 3% rebound bringing the price back to €80
The share gains 3.16% to €80.00, compared to €77.55 at the previous close, in an SBF 120 advancing 0.94%. This rebound erases the 1.54% decline recorded over the week and extends a gain of nearly 47.5% over three months. The price stands 7.14% above its MA20 and 22.81% above its MA200, illustrating the extent of the progress made since summer.
The resistance level at €82 is now approximately 2.5% away from the current price. At the end of September, the share had broken through this level during trading before pulling back, making it the reference level for this market phase. The RSI at 55 remains neutral and leaves room before an overbought zone.
Return to organic growth and higher margins in the first half
The movement is supported by recently confirmed fundamentals. In the first half of 2026, Alten returned to organic growth while improving its margin and free cash flow. The publication, which occurred on September 25, was followed by several target price revisions, including one from CIC, which had propelled the share to the top of the SBF 120 that day.
At the same time, the group is continuing its share buyback program: €53 million were repurchased over twelve months, or 1.9% of market capitalization, according to the latest statement read on September 23. The analyst consensus remains to be monitored to measure the scope of this recovery. The €82 level is the benchmark to watch in the coming sessions.
