+6.5% in one month: Virbac stock gains another 2% ahead of quarterly sales
The veterinary laboratory from Carros continues its recovery in a well-oriented Paris market. The session reinforces a movement that began at the start of the month, following a brief break below a support level. Third-quarter accounts, expected next week, are on the horizon.
A stock that has returned above its short-term moving averages
Virbac stock gained 2.15% to €332 during the session, while the SBF 120 advanced 0.56%. It ranks in the top half of the index board, with a lead of nearly 7% over the week. The price stands 6.77% above the 20-day MA (€310.95) and 3.68% above the 50-day MA (€320.22), while the 200-day MA (€343.56) remains 3.36% above the current price.
This zone had served as a ceiling before the stock briefly fell at the beginning of October to its support level of €302, briefly broken before a rebound. Since then, the stock has recovered more than 9% from that level, bringing its monthly performance to +6.6%.

The group will publish its third-quarter revenue on October 19. At the publication of the first half-year results on September 17, Virbac had reported organic growth of 7.4% and confirmed its 2026 objectives at the upper end of its range. The stock had nonetheless declined 5.5% the following day.
The group also announced in June a share buyback program worth 1 billion euros. The accounts on October 19 will provide the first quarterly checkpoint since those half-year results.
