6% decline over the week: OVH stock falls 2.5% days before its annual results
The Roubaix-based hosting provider remains under pressure mid-session, while Paris indices move into positive territory. The stock extends a decline that began several days ago and moves away from its short and medium-term moving averages. A calendar event is approaching, and market conditions add a touch of nervousness to the session.
A decline that moves the stock away from its short moving averages
The OVH stock falls 2.37% to €14.84 in the session, while the CAC 40 gains 0.27%. Over the week, the stock has already lost 6.02%, which has pushed it below the 20-day MA (€16.52), now 10.17% above the price. The 50-day MA (€15.95) is also above the price, with the gap reaching 6.96%.
The rebound of the 200-day MA to €12.61 provides a technical reference point instead: the price remains 17.68% above this average, which moderates the reading of an almost flat quarter (-1.07%) and a year still up 33.09%. On the support side, the €14.01 threshold is approximately 5.6% below the current price. In the CAC All Shares index ranking, the stock appears in the lower part of the session table, but the gap with leaders remains linked to movements in small-cap stocks that are much more pronounced.
An annual results appointment set for October 20
OVHcloud's 2026 full-year results are expected on October 20, within the coming week. Based on the expected earnings per share according to the consensus of surveyed analysts, the stock is trading at approximately 91.9 times current fiscal year earnings and 50.6 times next fiscal year earnings. The group had furthermore announced in March a share buyback program worth €50 million, of which €7 million have been executed over twelve months, or 0.3% of the market capitalization according to the latest statement read, dated February 12.
The session is taking place in a slightly positive Paris market, despite elevated sovereign rates: the 10-year OAT is at 4.80% according to the latest Bank of France reading on October 14, 10 basis points below the October 1st peak. The VIX, up 14.73% at 17.52, also signals increased volatility on the US side.
