Accor share among the strongest declines in the CAC 40 following its Q3 results
The multi-brand hotel group loses ground mid-session following the publication of its quarterly results, in a declining CAC 40. The security ranks at the lower end of the Paris index and falls below its short and medium-term technical benchmarks.
A decline that brings the share below its three moving averages
The share loses 2.76% to €44.77, while the CAC 40 falls 0.77%. It is one of the strongest declines in the index, behind only Kering and Safran. The price is now below the MA20 (€45.42, a gap of 1.43%), the MA50 (€45.85) and the MA200 (€45.81, a gap of 2.27%). The decline is part of a week down 2.93%, while the RSI at 44 remains neutral.
The third quarter accounts published on October 22 show revenue of €1,503 million, up 7.7% at constant exchange rates. The group raised its earnings target for the year, with an EBITDA guidance of €1,277.5 million. The still partial recovery in the United Arab Emirates, where RevPAR remains approximately 20% below last year's level, is among the risks cited by the company in this release.
