Ahold Delhaize: Edmond Mesrobian Proposed for Supervisory Board
Dutch retailer Ahold Delhaize announced on Tuesday the appointment of Edmond Mesrobian to its supervisory board. The board will propose his appointment at an extraordinary general meeting, the date of which will be announced later.
A Digital Transformation Expert in Retail
Edmond Mesrobian is an American executive specializing in technology and digital transformation. He recently served as the Chief Technology and Information Officer at Nordstrom, an American retail group. Prior to that, he held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Tesco and at Expedia Group, where he was responsible for corporate technology, digital platforms, and innovation. His previous experiences include technological roles at The Walt Disney Company and RealNetworks, a pioneer in media streaming. He began his career developing distributed systems applied to machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Current Positions and Expected Strategic Contribution
Mesrobian currently serves as a non-executive director at Entain and Criteo. He previously sat on the board of Apigee.
