Air France-KLM Share: After -18% Over the Quarter, the Stock Rebounds in Oversold Territory
The Franco-Dutch airline group is recovering mid-session, following a series of declines that left it below all of its moving averages. The movement occurs in a slightly upward-oriented Paris market, as a price target has just been lowered by a brokerage firm.
A 1.3% Rebound That Only Partially Offsets the Quarterly Decline
Air France-KLM gains 1.3% to €10.55, near its support level at €10.41, which corresponds to the previous day's close. This increase barely mitigates the 17.8% retreat over three months, and the stock remains below its 20-day moving average (€11.31, representing a 6.8% gap) as well as below its 200-day moving average (€11.26). The RSI at 30 reflects the exhaustion of selling pressure during the period: the stock has lost 5.8% over the week, placing it in an oversold configuration.
The group is advancing somewhat slower than its comparable peers today, Airbus (+1%) and ADP (+1.4%), which declined by approximately 1.4% and 1.7% over one month. The stock ranks in the top fifth of the SBF 120 (+0.24%), and Brent crude is falling 2.2% to $103.71 per barrel, in a context of easing energy prices.
