Among the largest declines in the CAC 40, Stellantis shares drop 3.5%
The multi-brand automaker declines sharply mid-morning, in a CAC 40 itself oriented downward. The stock ranks among the steepest declines in the index and remains far from its levels a year ago.
A decline of 3.5% that brings the stock back toward its support level of €3.85
Stellantis (Peugeot, Fiat, Jeep) is trading at €3.99 against €4.13 at yesterday's close, a decline of -3.49%. It is thus the second-worst performer in the index, with STMicroelectronics occupying last place, while the CAC 40 falls 0.81%. The price stands 3.5% above the support level at €3.85, a level the stock had not approached since its five-year low on September 25 at €3.93.
It remains increasingly far from its 200-day moving average at €6.09, or 34.6% above the MA200 itself, and the RSI at 44 remains neutral. Over one year, the loss reaches nearly 58%, and 17% over the past month.

The session is taking place in a Paris market marked by tension over French debt: the 10-year OAT is at 4.83%, with a spread of 1.34 points versus the Bund, as the examination of the 2027 budget opens. Brent is up 3.9% at $104.14 per barrel, in a context where rising energy costs are weighing on the entire automotive sector. On valuation, the stock is trading at approximately 7.4 times earnings for the current fiscal year according to the consensus of surveyed analysts.
During first-half results published on July 30, 2026, the Stellantis Pro One commercial vehicles division had highlighted a 140% year-over-year increase in electric vehicle orders from small and medium fleets. The level of €3.85 remains key; the stock will need to defend this level to avoid opening a new sequence of lower lows.
