Among the strongest gains in the SBF 120, Ubisoft Entertainment stock rebounds 3%
After a week of decline, the Breton publisher rebounds sharply on Tuesday and climbs to the top of the broader index ranking. The rebound occurs in a Paris market oriented upward, while French debt remains under pressure.
A rebound of 3.08% that places the stock among the top SBF 120 gainers
The stock Ubisoft Entertainment rises 3.08% to €5.23 during the session, compared to €5.07 the day before. It ranks among the strongest gains in the SBF 120, which gains 0.66%, as does the CAC 40 (+0.6%). The stock thus erases part of its decline from last week, since its seven-day performance remains close to breakeven (-0.15%) and the monthly gain reaches 7.64%.
Over three months, the decline is 5.33%, and nearly 49% over one year. The session is taking place in a Paris market where tension over French debt remains relevant: the 10-year OAT stands at 4.90% according to the latest reading from the Banque de France (October 2), and the spread with the Bund reaches 1.47 points.
The 200-day moving average at €5.02 reclaimed, the 20-day and 50-day moving averages still to overcome
The rebound allows the price to settle above the 200-day moving average (€5.02), with a margin of 4.10%. It remains, however, slightly below the 20-day (€5.26, gap of -0.65%) and 50-day (€5.31, gap of -1.58%) moving averages. The RSI at 43 remains in neutral territory, far from extremes.
On the short positions side, ten funds combine 11.00% of the capital according to the declarations reviewed, a high level but declining by 2.18 points over thirty days (13.18% previously). This month-long decline in the bearish bet is insufficient to speak of general disengagement, but it contrasts with the pressure observed last summer. Support is located at €4.86 and resistance at €5.67, a level that the stock has not reached for several weeks.
