Among the strongest gains in the SBF 120, Vivendi SE share rises 2.5%
The media and entertainment group is recovering after several weeks of selling pressure. This rebound, which stands out from a declining Paris market, does not erase the loss of value accumulated since spring.
A rebound that repairs only a tiny fraction of the quarterly decline
The Vivendi share is trading at €1.46 during the session, up 2.53% compared to the previous day (€1.42). It ranks second in the SBF 120 for the session, while the index falls 0.77%. Today's gain barely softens a decline of 33.6% over three months, and the share remains more than 51% below its level from a year ago.
The price is still slightly below its 20-day moving average (gap of 0.68%), while the RSI at 33 reflects a share that remains fragile after its recent sessions. The share had broken through its support at €1.45 on September 30, marking a five-year low, and this rebound leaves it close to this floor.
A half-yearly statement that underscores the fragility of the investment portfolio
During the publication of H1 2026 results on September 3, the group highlighted the launch of Bluey's Happy Snaps in the second half, in collaboration with the BBC, as a growth driver for Gameloft. Among the risks cited was the 34.1% decline in Universal Music Group's share price since January 1, 2026, which reduces the value of the investment portfolio. The holding company, chaired by Katie Jacobs Stanton, also holds stakes in Banijay, MFE, Prisa and Lagardère.
The Paris market is evolving in a context of tension over French debt, with a 10-year OAT at 4.83% according to the latest Banque de France survey of October 7. The support level at €1.41 remains the closest technical level to the current price.
