Amundi launches three ETFs on space, critical metals and electrification
In a press release published on October 13, 2026, the asset manager presented three new index funds dedicated to space technologies, critical metals and rare earths, as well as electrification infrastructure. Their listing is scheduled for October 20 on Xetra and Euronext Paris.
Space, critical metals and electrical networks join the range
Amundi continues to expand its offering of thematic ETFs with the Amundi Global Space Technologies UCITS ETF, the Amundi Global Critical Metals & Rare Earths UCITS ETF and the Amundi Global Electrification Infrastructure UCITS ETF. The first provides exposure to the space value chain, notably space infrastructure, launch vehicles and ground stations. The second targets companies active in critical metals and rare earths, presented as essential to the value chain of AI and energy technologies.
The third focuses on companies linked to the electrification of the economy, via electrical networks and transport and distribution infrastructure. These launches follow two thematic ETFs launched this summer on memory chips and data centers. According to the group, they extend the thematic offering to the "physical levers of technological innovation".
Management fees of 0.45% to 0.50% depending on the funds
The ETFs dedicated to space technologies (ISIN IE000RUMHLK6) and critical metals (ISIN IE000UV2SV13) have management fees of 0.50%. The one dedicated to electrification infrastructure (ISIN IE0004LE6CM5) is offered at 0.45%.
Amundi justifies these launches by the demand from retail investors, digital platforms and professional investors for thematic exposures. According to the group's data as of September 15, 2026, net flows to thematic ETFs reached nearly 22 billion euros in Europe in 2026, a record year for this market.
Benoît Sorel, head of the ETF & Index business, stated: "With these three ETFs, Amundi accelerates the development of its range of thematic solutions, offering retail and institutional investors a more precise way to access specific themes with strong conviction, such as AI and future technologies."
