Amundi launches We Share Amundi: employee share ownership at €66.63 with 30% discount
The Paris-based asset manager opened on September 14, 2026 a new employee share ownership operation designed to involve its employees in value creation for the group. The offer, called We Share Amundi, is aimed at employees in France and fourteen other countries.
A 30% discount and a price set at €66.63
The operation takes the form of a capital increase in cash reserved for employees, former employees on early retirement and retirees of Amundi group companies participating in the company savings plan (PEE) or the international group savings plan (PEGI), as well as retirees in France who have retained assets in the PEE. It had been initially decided on February 2, 2026 and is based on the 27th resolution of the general meeting of May 27, 2025, without preferential subscription rights.
The discount offered to employees is 30%, as in the previous capital increase reserved for employees. The subscription price is set at €66.63, corresponding to the average of opening prices over the 20 trading days between August 14 and September 10, 2026 inclusive, reduced by this discount.
Eligible employees can subscribe to the offer between September 14 and 25, 2026 inclusive.
A cap of one million shares and a five-year lock-up period
The capital increase will be capped at 1,000,000 shares with a nominal value of €2.50 each, representing less than 0.5% of the company's capital and voting rights. The new shares issued will be assimilated to existing ordinary shares and listed on Euronext Paris under the ISIN code FR0004125920.
The capital increase is scheduled for October 22, 2026, with the new shares to be admitted to trading on Euronext Paris on October 26, 2026. The subscription is carried out via dedicated FCPEs, with a maximum investment of €40,000 per employee. The shares subscribed will be subject to a five-year lock-up period, except in the event of early unlocking cases provided for by the plan regulations.
Amundi recalls that employees currently hold 2.22% of the company's capital and that the impact of the offer on earnings per share should be negligible.
