Argan's Stock Rises 2.5% After Annual Targets Are Raised
The real estate company specializing in logistics warehouses has a strong session on the Paris Stock Exchange. The stock benefits from the upward revision of its annual targets announced earlier in the week, while the delivery of new logistics sites extends the group's commercial momentum.
Increase Fueled by Raised Annual Guidance and New Deliveries
Argan's stock gains 2.31% to €62.10, up from €60.70 the previous day. The stock reacts to the raise in its annual rental income target, now set at €221 million compared to €220 million previously, announced on July 1 following a first semester increase of 4% to €109.7 million. The company also delivered, on July 2, two logistics platforms totaling 54,000 sqm to Ferrero near Rouen, developed by SPI Group and Batilogistic under the AutOnom label. Over three months, the stock shows an increase of 5.68%, while the performance over one year remains negative at -4.95%. The session is part of a well-oriented market, with the SBF 120 gaining 0.62% at the close.
Stock Moves Above Its Short-Term Moving Averages but Remains Below the MM200
Today's rebound allows Argan to settle well above its MM20 (€59.82) and MM50 (€60.39), with respective differences of 3.81% and 2.83%. However, the MM200, at €63.82, remains 2.70% above the price, indicating a still fragile underlying trend after the decline recorded over twelve months. The RSI at 63 approaches the upper zone without entering it, and the MACD is positive (0.33 against 0.13 for the signal line), confirming the improvement of the short-term momentum. The easing of long-term rates, favored by a weaker-than-expected US employment report in June, provides a supportive context for listed real estate companies. The next identified resistance is at €71.10, with technical support at €58.60.
