At the top of the CAC 40, AXA share gains 2% following a broken support level
After a series of difficult trading sessions, the Paris-based insurer is making a strong recovery on Tuesday and ranks among the best performers of the CAC 40. The rebound occurs in a Paris market that is also well-oriented, while French yields remain under pressure.
A rebound that leaves the share below its 20 and 50-day moving averages
AXA share gains 2.11% to €43.04 during the session, compared to €42.15 the previous day, and ranks ninth among CAC 40 gainers, which advanced 0.77%. The share nevertheless remains below its 20-day MA at €43.48 (gap of 1.01%) and its 50-day MA at €44.02 (gap of 2.23%), while it holds above its 200-day MA at €41.41 €. The decline of 2.14% over one week is therefore not erased, all the more as the RSI at 39 remains in a neutral zone.
On September 30, the share had broken through its support at €42.92, before gaining ground. The next technical level is the resistance at €45.06.
