Ayvens share breaks through its support at €11.20 and falls below its moving averages
Pressure is intensifying on Ayvens this Thursday, in a difficult session for the entire Paris stock exchange. The long-term rental company's stock is among the steepest declines on the SBF 120, amplifying the decline that began several weeks ago.
Share price breaks through support at €11.20 and falls below its three moving averages
The Ayvens share is losing 3.15% to €11.07 during the session, after closing at €11.43 the previous day. The downward breach of the €11.20 support level is the day's key development: the stock remains below this level, at €11.11 at the last check. This breakdown places the share price below the 20-day MA (€11.57), the 50-day MA (€11.65) and the 200-day MA (€11.21) simultaneously, a bearish alignment across all three timeframes.
The RSI at 45 remains in neutral territory and does not signal any selling exhaustion at this stage. Over one month, the stock is down 4.73%, reflecting a progressive deterioration in the technical positioning since the peak reached in late July.
Mixed half-year results in the background, on a stock valued at less than nine times earnings
The decline follows a sequence of mixed fundamental developments. Second quarter 2026 results, published on July 30, showed net income down 8.7% to €248 million, hurt by the collapse in used vehicle sales results. Rental margins, however, advanced 7%, a sign of operational strength in the core business. Ayvens also announced an interim exceptional dividend of €0.32 per share, approved by the board of directors on July 29, 2026 and paid on August 3, 2026.
In terms of valuation, according to the consensus of analysts tracked, the stock is trading at approximately 8.8 times expected earnings for the current fiscal year, and 8.0 times for the following year, with earnings per share growth projected at +10.1% year-over-year. The CAC 40 is down 1.12% and the SBF 120 is declining 1.05% during the session, in a broadly downward-trending market. The next level to watch for Ayvens is resistance at €12, now more than 8% above the current price.
