Bestprice Hotels Opens Its 4th Hotel in Barcelona and Aims for 13 Properties
Bestprice Hotels inaugurated its fourth establishment in Barcelona, the Bestprice Maragall, on Wednesday, reinforcing its deployment strategy in major Spanish provincial capitals. This opening is part of a national expansion plan that aims to increase the group's portfolio to 13 properties.
A Hotel Model Integrated into the Local Economic Fabric
The Barcelona establishment, located in the Horta-Guinardó district, offers 62 rooms and features a rooftop pool. The group sets itself apart by eschewing in-house restaurants, directing its guests towards local cafes, restaurants, and shops. According to Oscar Sánchez, president of Bestprice Hotels, this strategy 'directly contributes to the economic development of the cities where we operate' by boosting gastronomic and cultural tourism while adding value to the local economy. The chain combines competitive rates with superior range rooms, high-end services, and strategic locations in dynamic residential neighborhoods, allowing visitors an authentic experience of the destinations.
Three New Projects Under Development
Bestprice Hotels continues targeted national development in Spanish provincial capitals. Three new hotels are currently under development in Málaga, Córdoba, and Logroño, with the latter project involving the conversion of the Casino Sagasta into a 63-room establishment. This expansion is expected to bring the total number of properties operated to 13, consolidating the group's position as a premium-economy Spanish hotel chain.
