Bouygues Telecom launches three insurance products with AXA, starting from €1.99 per month
Bouygues Telecom will distribute, from October 26, three insurance and assistance offers designed with AXA Partners France and Juridica, AXA France's legal protection subsidiary. The agreement, announced on October 8, 2026, extends the operator's offering beyond connectivity towards the protection of digital life, housing and budget for its subscribers.
Three offers developed with AXA Partners France and Juridica
The partnership brings together Bouygues Telecom, a subsidiary of the Bouygues group, with AXA Partners France for assistance, insurance and protection, as well as with Juridica for legal protection. The three offers are integrated directly into the customer subscription journey of the operator, with technical support from Bolttech, a company specializing in technologies applied to insurance. Bouygues Telecom indicates that it is becoming the first operator in France to offer, within the same journey, assistance, insurance and legal protection solutions. Its Chief Executive Officer, Benoît Torloting, frames the agreement within the operator's "strategy for broadening our services". For Estelle Hondermarck, Chief Executive Officer of AXA Partners France, the objective is to build with its partners solutions "that integrate naturally into their offerings and their customer journeys".
Three coverages priced from €1.99 to €6.99 including tax per month
Digital Life Insurance, charged at €6.99 including tax per month, is aimed at customers with an Internet and/or mobile plan from Bouygues Telecom and covers their household (spouse and children). It combines legal protection, in particular in cases of disputes related to online purchases, identity theft, online harassment or damage to online reputation, with psychological support services and remote computer assistance. Home Emergency Insurance, available from €4.99 including tax per month to customers with an Internet plan, covers emergency situations at home related to electricity. It provides remote diagnosis and emergency repairs in less than 4 hours by a professional selected by AXA Partners France. According to the press release, this is the first time a telecommunications operator has offered this type of service in France. Bills Insurance, from €1.99 including tax per month for Internet and/or mobile customers, provides fixed financial assistance in the event of a hardship (hospitalization, work incapacity, disability) to pay digital service bills.
In-store sales first, online subscription to follow
Customers will be able to subscribe to these offers in Bouygues Telecom's network stores, with online subscription on the operator's website to be available shortly. Management of subscriptions will then be carried out via the application and customer portal. The system relies on the operator's customer base, which has 27.4 million mobile customers (including M2M) and 5.5 million fixed customers, as well as its network of 501 stores in France. Bouygues Telecom achieved revenue of €8.1 billion in 2025. The two partners indicate that in the coming years they will be able to enhance the services offered to customers.
