Broadpeak: Revenue Up 5.1% in Third Quarter, Down 12.9% Over Nine Months
Broadpeak published on October 27, 2026 revenue of €10.1 million in the third quarter, up 5.1% year-over-year (+6.1% at constant exchange rates). This quarter follows a first half in decline of 20.9%, and the cumulative figure over nine months remains down 12.9%, at €27.3 million.
The video streaming software publisher, based in Cesson-Sévigné, presents two interpretations of its publication. The cumulative reading remains in decline. According to the company, it is penalized by a base effect: a Cloud PVR contract concluded with a European operator had been recorded in the second quarter of 2025.
The quarterly reading shows a return to growth. Recurring revenues (maintenance and SaaS) grew by 12.8%. Over nine months, these revenues now account for 57% of sales, compared to 45% a year earlier.
Recurring Revenues Up 12.8% to €5.1 Million in Third Quarter
Recurring revenues reached €5.1 million in the third quarter of 2026, up 12.8%. They represent 51% of sales for the period. Over nine months, they grew by 10.0%, to €15.6 million.
Licenses & Services activity was stable in the quarter, at €3.9 million (+0.9%). Over nine months, it stands at €9.6 million, down 30.5%. The company links this decline to the base effect of the Cloud PVR contract.
The Equipment division recorded €1.1 million in sales in the third quarter, down 10.3%. Since the beginning of the fiscal year, it totals €2.1 million, representing a decline of 36.8%. According to Broadpeak, this decrease reflects an early 2025 marked by significant infrastructure deployments in Asia.
EMEA Returns to Growth, Americas Up 23.2% Over Nine Months
The geographic breakdown follows the same logic as the activity breakdown. EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) is the group's primary market. The region returned to growth in the third quarter, with revenue of €5.3 million (+10.0%). Over nine months, it declined 25.4%, to €14.3 million, a decline that the company attributes to the base effect of the European contract.
On the American continent, sales grew 6.2% in the quarter, to €3.7 million. Over nine months, the increase reached 23.2%, to €10.7 million, driven according to the company by several significant contracts. The Americas region is thus the only one showing growth over both periods.
In Asia-Pacific, revenue stood at €1.1 million in the third quarter (-15.4%) and €2.2 million over nine months (-34.6%). The group cites an elevated comparison base. Overall, the decline over nine months is concentrated in non-recurring activities and in the EMEA and Asia-Pacific regions, while the recurring portion of revenue continues to expand.
2026 Outlook and 2027 Targets Confirmed, Revenue Above €50 Million Targeted
Broadpeak indicates that its third quarter is in line with its roadmap. The company says it is approaching the end of the fiscal year with good visibility. Several contract signings are expected before year-end, on new solutions (anti-piracy, CDNaaS, Multiview) as well as historical offerings (Advanced CDN, Multicast ABR, Cloud PVR), in licenses and SaaS mode.
The fourth quarter is traditionally the most contributive period of the year. On this basis, the group maintains its outlook for sustained revenue growth over the entire second half of 2026. It also confirms it expects substantially positive EBITDA for fiscal year 2026. On October 1, 2026, when publishing its half-year results, Broadpeak had already confirmed its financial targets.
For 2027, Broadpeak reiterates all of its objectives: revenue above €50 million, of which 50% recurring revenues, and an EBITDA margin of around 15%. For reference, fiscal year 2025 revenue, published on April 15, 2026, was €44.38 million. Annual revenue for 2026 will be published on February 9, 2027, after market close.
