A rebound of 1.91% that barely offsets the quarterly decline
Engie stock gains 1.91% to €23.46 and ranks among the strongest gains in the CAC 40, which advances 0.62% at the same time. Engie and CMA CGM announced a partnership to produce biomethane in Le Havre. According to the October 13 press release, the unit is to supply 7,000 tonnes of biomethane annually (or 100 GWh) to the shipping company's fleet starting in 2029. Construction remains subject to a final investment decision, which Engie will make at the end of the development phase.
When publishing its H1 2026 results on July 31, the group had raised its 2026 guidance for recurring net income attributable to the Group. On the technical side, resistance at €24.40 remains the threshold to break, while support is located at €22.52.
