CAC 40 leaders: Thales stock gains 1.5%, RSI at 33
The defense electronics group is recovering during the trading session, in a Paris market barely oriented. This rebound comes after a sharp decline over one year, while the stock remains in a degraded technical configuration.
A rebound that leaves the stock below its three moving averages
Thales stock is up 1.37% at €221.30, among the strongest gains in the CAC 40, which is advancing 0.14%. The stock had lost ground in early October, temporarily breaking below the €224.50 support on October 6, and it remains significantly below the MA20 (3.56% gap), the MA50 (8.75%) and the MA200 (8.87%). The RSI at 33 shows a stock approaching oversold territory after a 14% decline over one year, while the next support level stands at €215.70.
Over one month, the decline reaches 2.43%, and the week remains virtually flat (-0.63%). Today's rebound is therefore modest in relation to the underlying downward trend.
Radar and cybersecurity contracts accumulate since early October
Thales has multiplied announcements in recent weeks. The group was selected by Danish Defence for a RSM NG radar for the Faroe Islands and must supply five air surveillance radars to Ireland through the DGA. It also presented five cybersecurity solutions at its Cyber Summit, including a partnership with Google Cloud, then unveiled the BladeHAUL military logistics robot with 3ME Technology.
The board of directors furthermore decided on September 29 an interim dividend of €1.05 per share for the 2026 financial year. For investors in Thales stock, the level to watch remains the €215.70 support.
