Capital B has completed a capital increase of €0.24M with its partner TOBAM, enabling the acquisition of an additional 4 bitcoins. The company now holds a total of 3,139 BTC as part of its bitcoin treasury strategy.
Capital Increase and Acquisition of Additional Bitcoins
Capital B finalized a capital increase on Monday amounting to €0.24M (including share premium) at €0.63 per share as part of its ATM program with TOBAM. This operation involved the issuance of 384,820 ordinary shares. The proceeds allowed the group to acquire an additional 4 BTC for €0.26M, in line with its Bitcoin Treasury Company strategy. The bitcoin acquisition was facilitated by Swissquote Bank Europe SA, a virtual asset service provider registered with the Luxembourg regulator (CSSF), with secure custody provided through Taurus's technology platform.
Bitcoin Portfolio and Performance Since the Beginning of the Year
Capital B and its subsidiary Capital B Luxembourg SA collectively hold 3,139 BTC, acquired at a total value of €283.8M, based on an average price of €90,418 per bitcoin. Since the beginning of the year, the group has achieved a 'BTC Yield' of 1.85% and a 'BTC Gain' of 52.2 BTC, corresponding to a 'BTC € Gain' of €3.3M. For the current quarter, the 'BTC Yield' stands at 1.12%. The group also holds an additional 61 BTC for operational needs, which are separately segmented within its treasury reserve and excluded from key performance indicators.
