Charwood Energy: Revenue Up 43% in First Half of 2026, Reaching €5.6M
Charwood Energy published its first half 2026 revenue on September 21, 2026, up 43% year-on-year, at €5.6M.
The French specialist in energy solutions from biomass valorization highlights the continuation of the activity acceleration observed since 2023, driven by several projects won during the period.
Revenue 90% Driven by Third-Party Activity
Over the first six months of 2026, Charwood Energy generated revenue of €5.6M, compared to a lower level a year earlier, representing growth of 43%.
90% of this revenue comes from design, construction and installation services for biomass energy valorization solutions carried out on behalf of third parties (agricultural operations, industrial companies and local authorities), while 10% is generated for own account.
Third-party activity was notably supported by the supply, installation and commissioning of a heat network for the Stellantis plant in La Janais (35), an operation conducted by the Energy&+ subsidiary with client Engie Solutions, as well as by the acquisition of the project launched by GRDF via the Charwood Innovation subsidiary, aimed at demonstrating the technical feasibility of injecting green gas from pyrogasification into gas networks.
Order Book of €12M, Up 20%
To date, the group indicates it has secured orders from third-party clients totaling €12M, up 20% compared to the first half of 2025 (€10M).
These orders are deliverable and billable in 2026 and 2027, which the company presents as a visibility element for the quarters ahead.
Charwood Energy notes that other projects are in advanced discussions and should be announced in the second half of 2026.
A Plant Under Construction for Verallia Under a 21-Year Contract
In own-account activity, several plants are in development, including one for Verallia France, whose construction began in February 2026, in line with the roadmap.
This 21-year contract covers the construction and operation of a syngas production unit on the Verallia site in Cognac, which Charwood Energy will own outright.
The company indicated that publication of its first half 2026 results is scheduled for October 26, 2026, after market close.
