Clariane share rebounds and moves back above its main moving averages
The personal services group's stock regains momentum on Thursday in a moderately advancing European market. The rise comes as the macroeconomic backdrop remains tense, between U.S. monetary tightening and European gas prices close to their 2022 highs.
A rebound that places the share above its short and long-term moving averages, approaching the 50-day MA
Clariane gains 1.78% to €4.01 during trading, ranking among the strongest gainers on the SBF 120. This rebound follows a difficult month for the security, which had fallen nearly 2% over thirty days before this session. The technical setup warrants attention: the price clearly moves above the 20-day MA at €3.98 and the 200-day MA at €3.94, and positions itself practically at the level of the 50-day MA at €4.00, with a gap not exceeding 0.30%.
The next resistance level sits at €4.10, less than 0.5% above the current price. Should this level be breached, the share would find itself above all its moving average benchmarks with some margin. The RSI at 47 remains neutral, showing no overbought signals nor buying exhaustion, leaving room for today's bullish momentum without marked technical bias in either direction.

In a context of elevated rates, the €500 million bond issuance announced on September 7 to repay two existing term loans, accompanied by a new revolving credit line project, illustrates the group's debt restructuring effort. When publishing H1 2026 results on July 29, management highlighted a €1,063 million refinancing completed during the fiscal year, presented as a lever for financial flexibility and debt cost reduction. On results, Clariane targets an improvement in its EBITDA margin of 100 to 150 basis points by end-2026, relying on progressively rising occupancy rates. Inflationary pressure on operating costs remains, however, one of the risks identified during this publication.
Over one year, the share still shows a decline of 6.7%, giving an idea of the scope of the road ahead. Comparable share Emeis rises 0.08% during the session, well short of Clariane's gains. The next technical level to watch remains the €4.10 resistance.
