Clariane shares fall below their €3.11 support and accelerate their decline
The operator of medicalised retirement homes and home care services extends its midday slide in a Paris market that is nonetheless trending higher. The stock is trading below all of its moving averages, a few days after publishing its third-quarter activity.
The €3.11 support gives way, the price falls below its three moving averages
Clariane shares fall 3.07% to €3.10 intraday, while the CAC 40 gains 0.48% and the SBF 120 gains 0.42%. During the session, the stock broke below the €3.11 support, which had triggered a rebound on 28 October, and the lowest point of the last 250 sessions is now behind it: this level becomes resistance and no support remains below the price.
The stock is 5.26% below its 20-period moving average (MM20) and 20.15% below its 200-period moving average (MM200). The RSI at 35 reflects the accumulated selling pressure, with a decline of 9.1% over one month and 22.36% over three months. Within the SBF 120, the stock is among the largest decliners of the session.
Solid third-quarter results, 2028 targets confirmed
The session contrasts with the company's recent news. Third-quarter revenue, published on 28 October, stands at €1,352 million, up 4.9% on an organic basis.
On that occasion, the group confirmed all of its targets, including average annual revenue growth of approximately 5% and a 7% to 9% increase in pro forma pre-IFRS 16 EBITDA over 2025-2028.
Among the risks cited, the group notably points to macroeconomic uncertainties linked to the Middle East and its dependence on a gradual improvement in occupancy rates. The sector remains under pressure: Emeis, another retirement home operator, falls 2.26% today and 33.07% over three months.
