Cogedim Launches 25 Quality Commitments for Its New Housing
Real estate developer Cogedim has announced the launch of 25 quality commitments applicable to all its new housing offerings. This structured formalization around four pillars (health and well-being, architecture and usage, environment, customer relations) expands an approach initiated in 2021.
Four Pillars for an Enhanced Quality Approach
Cogedim's 25 quality commitments are structured around four complementary axes. The 'Health and Well-being' pillar includes 6 commitments dedicated to daily comfort, tranquility, and year-round habitability. The 'Architecture and Usage' axis groups 6 commitments focused on the design of housing to adapt to different lifestyles and life stages.
The 'Environment' pillar brings together 7 commitments for a responsible and preserved living environment. Finally, the 'Customer Relations' pillar includes 6 commitments for personalized support at the time of purchase, during construction, and after moving in. This structure extends and strengthens a previous approach, structured since 2021 around 10 commitments for health and well-being.
Summer Comfort and Water Management at the Heart of New Priorities
Among these 25 commitments, Cogedim integrates summer comfort as a design rule in 100% of its new operations. The approach first prioritizes protective and bioclimatic architecture, then plans a complementary cooling solution that is adapted and proportionate to each context.
The passive base is the first level of response, encompassing design choices that naturally limit heat exposure: control of solar gains through appropriate protections, natural ventilation, creation of cool islands through landscaping and shaded spaces, and limiting building heat-up through compactness and suitable materials. This passive base is complemented according to the climatic, technical, and regulatory realities of each program, for example, a reversible heat pump or air circulators. Cogedim also supports residents in proper usage to maximize the effectiveness of the solutions implemented.
Partnership on the Reuse of Greywater
Water resource preservation constitutes a second major axis, structured around three priorities: sobriety through water-saving equipment and individualized consumption monitoring, regeneration through the recovery of rainwater and the reuse of greywater, and resilience with a design adapted to climate risks and management promoting natural infiltration.
Cogedim has signed a strategic partnership with Odalie, a subsidiary of Saur, to integrate a greywater treatment and reuse solution within its new residential programs.
