Compagnie des Eaux de Royan forecasts net loss of €100k in 2026, following profit in 2025
The board of directors of the Saur group subsidiary approved on 13 October 2026 its provisional financial statements. They show revenue of approximately €5,200k for the current fiscal year, compared to €7,585k in 2025.
Reduced operating loss, financial result in sharp decline
Compagnie des Eaux de Royan (CER) published the provisional profit and loss statement as of 31 December 2026 derived from the financial documents of provisional management approved by its board of directors. This data relates to the social accounts of the company, listed on Euronext Access. Activity is declining from one fiscal year to the next, with expected revenue falling below the 2025 level.
The projected operating result remains negative, at approximately -€160k, compared to -€213k for the 2025 fiscal year. The operating loss is therefore reducing, even though revenues are declining. The projected financial result, conversely, is reduced to approximately €30k, after €671k one year earlier.
In total, CER anticipates a net deficit result of approximately -€100k for 2026, compared to a profit of €439k in 2025. What the figures reveal relates to the composition of the result. In 2025, the financial result of €671k had more than covered the operating loss of €213k, enabling the company to generate a profit.
In 2026, with a projected financial result of approximately €30k, this support is no longer sufficient to absorb an operating loss that is nonetheless lower than that of the previous fiscal year. Arithmetically, the shift from profit to net loss is therefore based more on the financial line than on operations, whose deficit decreases from €213k to approximately €160k.
Forecasts established subject to conditions
The amounts communicated are rounded estimates, presented as approximate for each of the profit and loss statement aggregates. They were established according to the same accounting principles as those adopted for the company's accounts as of 31 December 2025. This continuity of method makes it possible to directly compare the provisional 2026 figures with those of the previous fiscal year.
The documents are based on assumptions relating to future events and circumstances. The company indicates that some of these could prove to be incorrect and that unforeseen events could occur after the date of preparation of the documents. The actual results of the fiscal year may therefore differ from the projected results.
CER specifies that this variance could be significant. The net deficit result of approximately -€100k thus constitutes a projection at year-end and not a final result. The publication was disseminated as regulated information, in the category of privileged information relating to accounts and results.
For the investor, the reading therefore focuses on an order of magnitude and a trend between two fiscal years, with the revenue line and financial result concentrating the bulk of the variations in the provisional accounts.
